What Is Whizz-Kids?
Whizz-Kids is an incredible organisation which provides disabled children with everything they need in order to experience life to the full and reach their true potential. They aim to supply high-quality equipment such as wheelchairs to thousands of children and young people across the UK, enabling them to lead a fun and active everyday life.
However, their support does not end with delivering mobility equipment to these children. Whizz-Kids also strives to transform lives with an incredible ‘Life Journey’ service, offering a disabled young person the opportunity to build friendships, enhance their confidence and learn crucial life skills. In order to achieve this, Whizz-Kids have a large network of youth clubs, wheelchair training classes, residential camps and work placements. Their team of high-trained professionals, including friendly therapists, are incredibly knowledgeable and they work tirelessly to improve the lives of disabled children throughout the UK.
How Can You Help?
Whizz Kids have a number of options for you to get involved with their organisation. Their superb foundation is supported in a number of ways such as donations, fundraising and corporate partnerships. Donations can be made as a singular payment of your choice or as a regular donation and they encourage a variety of fundraising events which get everybody involved.
